Information for our guests

Our opening times: The official re-opening of Resort&Suite Hotel Orselina is scheduled for April/May. Afterwards our establishment is open until Saturday, November 7, 2009. It will be temporarily closed until December 12, 2009.

Minimum stay: Our hotel suites are only available on a weekly basis, from Saturday to Saturday. We thank you for your understanding.

Arrival and departure: Our hotel suites are available from 16.00. Because we wish to have your accomodations in perfect readiness, we need ample time for the preparation. Our new arrivals can partake in a generous Saturday brunch until 15.00.
We ask you to free your suites by 10.30 on your departure day.

For your automobiles: We offer you a garage parking space for Fr. 84.00 per week.

Location of hotel suites: All of our suites are spacious, light and have a southern exposure. We kindly ask our guests to refrain from smoking in the suites.

Our weekly package consists of:
- 7 nights in spacious hotel suite with south balcony
- Bathroom with spa atmosphere (soft jet-stream bathtub, Swarovski rhinestone ceiling lights, Balena shower fixtures, chromotherapy shower)
- Exclusive breakfast buffet until 12.00/Saturdays until 15.00

For our golfers: Golfers are offered 2 complimentary greenfees for 18-hole Gerre Losone (hcp 36) per person and week stay. Additional greenfee reductions available.

Pets: Our resort is not suitable for pets. Thank you for your understanding.

General Regulations: Confirmed reservations are binding for our hotel as well as for our guests. Reasonable cancellations are without cost up to 4 weeks before arrival date. For later cancellations we try to find a substitute booking for the suite. If this is not possible, we must unfortunately charge the guest with a 50% arrangement fee. For earlier departures due to weather we are unable to reimburse any weekly charges and ask for understanding.
After confirmed reservations we ask for a downpayment of 50% of the arrangement price.

How to find us:
By car: Motorway A2 Gotthard or San Bernardino to Bellinzona South, direction Locarno (20km). Before the bypass tunnel to Locarno, take exit Orselina/Minusio. Stay on main road to Minusio, then follow the sign to Resort&Suite Hotel Orselina.
By rail: International trains via Zurich or Lucerne to Bellinzona. Change trains to Locarno. From West Switzerland via Simplon/Domodossola and Centovalli. From train station Locarno we recommend a taxi.
By air: International airport Lugano-Agno, Milano, Zurich. We would be happy to book your transfer by taxi.

Funicular Locarno-Orselina: The “Funicolare” runs between Orselina and Locarno all 15 minutes during the season. It is 3 minute walk from our Resort. We have a special eco ticket for hotel guests: Fr. 2.50 return.
